New For EDC Las Vegas 2013

There will be more news on new additions to this year’s event as the dates nears.  However, here are some notable changes right off the bat to increase your EDC experience.  You voice your opinions, Insomniac listens…

Dedicated Route to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Fan and artist shuttles including taxis to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will have a newly dedicated route to minimize the impact on individual traffic.  That means no more artists walking into the speedway minutes before their performance!

Additional Entryway Lanes Into and Out Of Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Last year, the streets getting to the Speedway crawled at a snails pace.  Once you got into the parking lot, it was more of the same.

    More Parking Staff

The staff has been increased in order to move and park cars more quickly in and out of the lots.

Once you’ve made your decision to go, you will want to buy your tickets, hotel, shuttle passes, etc. as soon as possible! Prices are going up as we speak and NEVER go down for EDC weekend, so if you’re in the market for a ticket, you should get them all now.

How fast do VIP tickets typically sell out?

VIP passes don’t usually sell out until the regular passes sell out. They’re much more expensive so you’ll see them up until very close to June.

1 night passes aren’t for sale… your best bet is to meet someone who isn’t using the full 3 days of their pass and buy a day from them. Anyone out there not planning to use the full 3 days? Let us know! We’ve got someone here who would like to use a day!

*UPDATE* Check out the new EDC Forums! You can use it to try and find a 1 day pass for EDC

        Hey Sssaaara,

Unfortunately, it’s not all ages. It’s an 18 and older event. There will also be alcohol for the 21 and up.

Yes, the VIP tickets have already went up to $500… I think it may cap out at $500 though, but if you haven’t already bought them, better pick them up here before they’re sold out.

Once you buy your shuttle pass, does it get mailed to you with your ticket or do you need to pick it up at will call? If so how does the will call work?

Do the travel packages have the availabilty of 4 people to a room? Do the rooms have 2 beds?

The travel packages have a limit of 2 people only because the availability of 2 beds in a room is not guaranteed. If you want to make sure you have 2 beds, you will want to book your hotel separately from the travel packages

Tickets will not be shipped internationally so you’re going to have to pick up your tickets at “will-call”. When you purchase your tickets here, you have to specifically select international order in the dropdown menu. You’ll get a purchase confirmation which you printout and bring to the event. Then you pick up your tickets in the corresponding line at EDC Las Vegas.
