34 Biggest EDM Festival Crowds
Our recent post about the Largest EDM Festivals in the World became so popular and raised so many questions, we decided to expand the list to the 34 we have been following and present them in an infographic.
To be clear, we obtain our numbers from reputable sources such as news broadcasting services or recognized magazines (online or offline). Also, we may have missed quite a few EDM festivals. So if you think you know of a festival that we missed, shoot us a comment below. Lastly, if you think our numbers are incorrect and can provide more accurate data with a source, let us know. We’ll be more than happy to change it.
Please review the criteria for the list before you comment:
The festival must have actual attendee data from 2012 and 2013. If it was cancelled (e.g. Monster Massive) and/or is no longer in existence (e.g. Love Parade), then its not going on this list.
51% of the lineup has to be from an artist that is labeled as a dance music artist. This is where it get’s a little sketchy. For us, 51% is enough to be considered a electronic dance music festival. That’s why we have Coachella and T in the Park on this list.
We are keeping traveling festivals as separate events. So for example, EDC currently has 6 host cities. We are treating each city as a separate festival.
With that said, here’s our list of 30 biggest EDM festivals based on daily average attendance. Feel free to copy the infographics onto your own website using the embed code below.
